  1. I'm seriously loving Animal Crossing New Horizons, exactly what I need during these times. Don't think it deserves a barrage of 0's, but I do think the criticisms surrounding the save file limitations and local co-op restrictions are valid, and I hope Nintendo updates the game to fix this stuff.

  2. I'm actually really disappointed that Golden Tools break. It takes almost a year to unlock some of them, and your reward for it is a tool that takes longer to break. Having tools that don't break wouldn't even ruin the crafting system since there's still a lot of things that need crafted thought the game.

  3. Nintendo is corporate garbage. Mindless drones always give Nintendo a pass but if it's Sony or Microsoft….these 2 would be finished.

    Childish man children .

  4. Ironically, pirates and hackers get a better experience because they are able to have as many islands as they want by backing up and restoring their saves. There's even a homebrew being developed to automate the process, allowing players to simply select one among multiple islands from a menu.

  5. Makes Konami look good with €10 second savefile. Here you need a extra copy of the game and a xtra Switch. You are getting more ****ed over then with Pokemon.😆

  6. Animal Crossing fans should try android mobile games. They'll find more of the same repetitive daily grinding they love so much. A whole world awaits you guys! AC is not alone!

  7. Companies do this because people is willing to buy not just another copy, but another console, AND on top of that, the "solution" given by the company that created said problem a la pokemon bank stuff.

  8. calling every negative review a "review bomb" is not really accurate and just downplays the very real criticisms of the game.

  9. Like you yong, usually just a single player kind of guy. Didn't know until yesterday that this was a problem for folks. I'm still enjoying it, but I get the disappointment/frustration of the players who are relegated "2nd player".

  10. I share my copy of Animal Crossing (and Switch) with my wife and two 10 year old children and because of how Nintendo is handling saves for the Switch we all are forced to share the same island. It isn't game breaking and I am not leaving the game a 0 on metacritc, but I am super disappointed. I've played a bunch of AC, as have my daughters, and even on the gamecube you would just swap out save cards to get multiple towns for a family sharing 1 copy of the game.

I would even be okay buying a separate cartridge of the game and to put my daughters on one island and my wife and I on the other, but no, Nintendo is requiring we own a second Switch. From that perspective, it feels like Nintendo is cheating us hard.

  11. This anti-consumerism deserves to be review bombed. This is why I plan on only buying the game secondhand.

  12. You do realize the reviews are a bunch of 0s, right ? Its pretty much over reaction especially since animal crossing was always a single player game.

Also instead of cherry picking comments for your video, should have seen of the fake reviews given. " like the guy who saids ea is Better than Nintendo" or how "sony treats their customers better"

I like how you dont see this as a overreaction.

  13. EA – Microtransactions
    Bethesda – Macrotransactions

    Nintendo
Hold my Beer Imma show you how it's done –

  14. Me, sitting in the corner playing the week old Nioh 2 without any controversy

Oh shit, there the go again.

  15. Nintendo has had to be dragged kicking and screaming into every new gaming industry change ever since they started

  16. For me Animal Crossing New Horizons is on track to be my personal GOTY, and a lot of that has to do that its coming at a time that its really needed.

  17. No offense but i really feel Yong Is very Biased about this, and is posing this lightly.
If EA/Bethesda did it, he would have reacted with far more negative passion

A very loose Example – Imagine if Doom Eternal has Surprise Microtransactions.

Just shows that this is not a unbiased news channel. Yong is doing great but he's got preferences and biases of his own.

  18. I was originally going to buy New Horizons for my sister’s birthday to play coop, but I will wait until this gets resolved.

  19. I really wish Nintendo didn't put online multiplayer and the clothing links/QR codes behind a paywall making you pay for the Nintendo online service i was really looking forward to using and sharing clothes with people only to find out it's locked behind a paywall so that's really disappointing but other than the paywall and all the multiplayer stuff i think its a pretty good game.
